Does anyone feed their gcc jarred baby food? Fruits, veggies, meats?

I haven't fed baby food by itself, but have included it in birdie bread.

i have also included it in birdie bread. I'd be concerned to feed it straight with the amount of sugar in it.

On sugar, I used all natural/no added sugar types (basicly just fruit puree w/ added protein and fats) geared at underweight babies for my boy when he was younger (On vet advice, we had some weight issues). I would mix a small teaspoon in with his formula. He loved it!

IO was thinking about baby food for Max, but when I saw the prices I gave it up... Never fed my kids 'baby food' either... Just food made my me suitable for babies...

We went to look at baby food, the all natural ones, after reading the ingredients, there was something that's being added in there that's not really good for birds, I was looking at it for my Lory, something added that was bad for Lory....Can't remember what it was...So we just feed him fresh fruits, and puree fresh fruits & veggies for him every so often.

I put the Sweet Potatoes in my Birdy Bread

Thank you for all the feedback!

I used to feed baby foods to my TAG when she was younger mixed with corn bread and other healthy things. Now she loves mashes but I use the real thing in making them.
