is it ok to feed my baby quaker baby food
as long as i dilute it he is 5 weeks old

If your refering to human baby food no i don't think it's a good idea. Hand rearing formula for baby birds have all the necessary requirements for your growing baby. However once the chick is weaning there is no harm in adding human baby food to the formula to get him/her used to other textures & tastes.

Baby food contains some iron which, according to my vet can build up in a birds system and not so good for the liver. When my bird was fully weaned I bought a food processor and make mashes with that.
