Bella (Vosmaeri Eclectus Female) + Dexter (Red Sided Eclectus Male) + Gerry (Vosmaeri Eclectus Male)
Bella and Dexter were rather close earlier while sharing a chunk of banana!
Dexter had banana all over his beak, rubbed it onto Bella's chest and said
"ere ya go"
I got my phone out to film, and managed to catch Dexter say
"ere ya go" very sweetly :)

A little while later, they kept peek-a-boo-ing eachother. I think Dexter is trying to 'make a move'. Bella seemed confused by Dexters latest behaviour and kept asking him "what ya doin?!?"

Aaaa, the sharing of a banana and a bit of bill touching. Such confusing moments between friends! :D

Great video! Thanks!

What a sweet video! Hahaha! Dexter, you old smooth talker, you!

Hi everyone! I’m new to the forum. I have an umbrella cockatoo. Just got him. My question is can he have banana?
I love reading everyone’s post. So interesting.
Thanks Py.

Hello Py! Yes banana is fine for an umbrella cockatoo!

I don't have any experience with cockatoos, but as far as I know, the following fruits and vegetables are fine for a cockatoo:
apple, banana, pear, grape, tangerine, orange, mango, strawberry, blue berry, melon, pineapple, broccoli, cauliflower, beans, peas, carrots, corn.
Seed mix and a pellet would probably be required too.

If you have a specific question, you are best to start a new thread so that someone with more relevant experience is able to see it and respond to it.

Maybe start a new thread called 'Cockatoo Diet Advice Needed'
That way people who have cockatoos will see it and hopefully be able to offer better advice.

Also you can try using the 'search' tab at the top and see if there's other threads about cockatoo diet.

:)
