I am working on a huge batch of chop, and am going to freeze it. I have never added bananas to a chop I'm going to freeze, but got a killer deal on a bananas yesterday and was wondering if they would get all slimy if I add them. Has anyone tried it before? If so, how did you process them and how did it turn out?

Ali can say is that bananas are mixed into frozen fruit mixes for smoothies all the time.

Thanks Chris, I hadn't thought about that. Good point!

I mixed it in with my chop, no issues, it didn't get too slimy imo. If you're unsure you can always do a small portion of your batch with the bananas and see what you think of it :)

Thanks Melissa, I think I am going to do some with, and some without:) Good to know yours worked out well, I am hopeful:)
