Bar spacingfor indian ringneck parrot

Would 1" bar spacing be ok for a ringneck? I've used this bar spacing for birds of similar size in the past with no problems, I was just curious what everyone else thinks...Thanks!

I think 1' is too big (wide) i lost a male IRN in a cage with 1x1 wire,and don't use it any more.
