For lost feathers.

Bingo has just started his (spring) molt.
He has lost 3 large feathers within about 2 days.

In North America Bingo and some other Amazonโ€™s had a somewhat unusual hormonal season.

So be prepared for feathers falling like leaves in the fall.

Of course on the west coast we missed the terrible cold most of the rest of the nation got hit with.

We are just beginning to see the extreme cold leaving as we return to more normal temperatures. Today, is the first day in several weeks of a bright Sunny Sun Rise!!! Our Julio has taken-up a roosting position directly in the center of it!

You are so very correct as a recent check of Julio noted a heavy load of downy feathers! I agree, we will be seeing a heavy storm of 'snow' feathers when he enters his molt!

As far as his full display, his feathers are truly in a healthy state as his colors real POP in the Sunshine.
