Can anyone tell me why he does this :
he will grab my clothes and stick the point of his beak through them (only lightly) then he deliberately uses his lower jaw the beak click and make it look like he is chewing my clothes. It’s very loud pop/crack as he is using the serrated inner part to make the noise. I seem to get a cheeky eye staring at me whilst he’s doing it. He seems to do it more near dinnertime and is often acting a little excited/energetic at the time. I know he’s telling me that he wants his dinner, that he is then going to run up me and harass my chin, my nose Etc .. he has a few ways of telling me. So I understand his meaning.
But I just wondered if there was a specific reason/activity eclectus do this for.
thank you

The deep reason is within his mind. With hope he will tell you someday.
The connections could be tied with normal preening activity prior to feeding.
That is the best that I have.
With luck, one of the Eclectus snobs will provide greater insight.
