Posting this question to all the Parrot experts. Why should a female be discouraged from laying eggs if it is not for breeding purposes :red:

Egg Binding can be fatal to your hen if she lays too often or is not provided with an ample amount of calcium. Egg laying is of course paired with hormonal behavior which is unpleseant for both your bird and you. That's all I have. Maybe someone on here can go more in depth.
