What is up with all the bells on every single bird toy? It’s the absolute WORST. I take the clapper out or the bell off. My bird doesn’t play with them but even when he bumps his toys with his tail it makes the bells ring then he has a panic and flaps around until he falls.

I agree, I wish they were easy to remove. I have a dumb question - how did you get the clappers off? I tried and felt like I was going to end up with a sharp broken piece where it attached so I wrapped the whole bell in vetwrap.

My bird isn't scared of the bells (I could see him enjoying ringing then as a standalone toy) but he's starting to explore everything with his mouth more and I don't want a disaster when I'm not home :/ I feel like on most of his toys they're not easily removed while without ruining the toy itself.

Wire snippers and a metal rasp/file. I snip the ring that holds the clapper in the bell and then I file it down until it’s completely smooth. I have a rounded rasp that works well.

Thank you!
