I want to thank everybody who responded on yesterday's question, you guys are really great.... Went out today and got some new perches for Yogi and we will keep you posted on his progress.

Now, on to something new. I remember reading somewhere that you can determine the age of a bfa by their eyes somehow? Is this true? If so I am posting a pic of Yogi for the pros... I was told he was around 4 but there is no certainty. :green:

The only thing I can think of would be determining age between Juvenile and adult by eye color, in juvies the eyes are brown, as adults they turn to an yellowish orange color, other than that I know of no way that you can determin the age of a bird by its eyes.....if your BFA has a leg band it may have info on it to at least give you the year of hatch.
