Bird Talk Magizine

Such a shame that bird talk is ceasing publication! Does anybody know where to get back issues of the magizine without having to buy the pdf file? We dont have a color printer. I am looking for the August 2012 issue, but petsmart only has the september issue. Thanks

AWW I hate to loose this publication. I just threw away my copy of August 2012 due to my Ruby ate most of it. I would have sent it to you.

Yes, sad. We opted out of the move to Dog Fancy, so they promptly sent a refund check.

I've seen bird stores carry back issues or eBay should have them.

I just got my copy of Parrot magazine published in the UK. I must say it is better than Bird Talk. It has more articles, larger pages and thicker. Of course, it cost more.

Yep, mine arrived yesterday. I had subscribed to it previously but let it lapse. It's more "adult" than Bird Talk in a number of ways, and it's more of an international perspective. They do publish some things that are a bit too "woo-woo" for me, but on balance I think it's a better magazine than Bird Talk was.
