We will be moving Venus into the livingroom where all the action happens this weekend. I'm planning on putting her cage next to Buddy's, with 6 inches between the cages minimum, eventually. This way they can share the window. During the day the area they will be in is sunny during the day but at night it's a dark corner so I'm looking to add some light in their corner that's not too bright.
I was looking at bird lights but should bird lights be used in the evenings? My thinking is it will mess up their circadian rhythm, and they look to be bright lights so possible too much light at night. I pulled a light from our bedroom and set it up in the corner, it's soft, not too bright, but I worry about mischievous beaks and safety. So I'm curious about should a bird light be used or is a regular light at night?
