Black capped lory

Hey guys, I'd never considered keeping a lory or lorikeet before as I am well too aware of their ability to shoot liquid poop, the rainbow lorikeets are a very common bird in my area of Austrralia.
However, today while looking at a BFA at my bird store, I met a black capped lory and I've not been able to stop thinking about him since, he was all over me and a very lovely bird. I'm going back to the store to play with him again tomorrow. Does anyone here have any experience with them? I've not been able to find much information on them online. I do know they're excellent talkers and a very high enrgy bird. Do they get very hormonal or aggressive? Anything else I should know about them?

Our member Mikey has one [and they sound great ]. I have a Yellow streaked lorry and a Chattering lorry . Mine are funny ,very active smart and talk .

For some reason I thought he had a black lory, not a black capped.

I once spent time with a black capped. He was a good talker and funny bird.

Your right he has a Black lory . I think Black caps are bigger guys.
