Hi all,

My 'tiels are going through their first molt, collectively they've molted eight flight feathers. Today I found one that has blood on it (it doesn't look like blood in the photo, but it is), none of the others have looked like this. I can't seem to find reference to if it's normal or not - any advise would be most welcomed!

Thanks so much!

Thanks for replying, I've just checked his wings all over and there's no blood.
I've seen some dried blood before on my bird's moulted feathers. I'd say you should just keep an eye on him :)

Thank you! He is definitely still acting like his cheeky self, but will keep watch over him. Thank you for putting my mind at ease :)
