Hey guys! I'm new to the forum and I was wondering who else has a blue throat? This is my baby indigo!

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
I've bird sat them before. They are very, very fun little birds. HUGE PERSONALITY!!! (I have a red front and a greenwing.)

There are at least two other blue throats on this board, possibly three. Karen has one... she's the most active member that has one.

My other macaw is a Greenwing! He is a very large male weighing about 3.5lbs. I love my boy! I don't know much about the red fronts although they are gorgeous!

Red fronts and blue throats are very similar in personalities... (in fact, having had both in my home at the same time, I have to say the only difference is that the blue throat was a tad more clingy... but that bird was still a baby, and I was still hand feeding it. So...) SUPER PLAYFUL. SUPER TRUSTING. SUPER INTERACTIVE. ROLL-EY POLL-EY BIRDS... Both just love to keel over on your lap...

They're both from the same area of Bolivia, and both about the same size. Red fronts are just a tiny bit smaller usually. But not by much.

The pics of her next to my CAG is deceiving. My CAG is a "silver gray." He's friggin' HUGE! (550-ish grams)

My greenwing is a female, and she's one of the big 'uns as well... She's probably my most bonded bird at the moment. Just a big red ball of mush...

We got greenwings coming out of our ears on this board...

(Or, if you are a literalist, sticking things in our ears. Tongues primarily.)

There are several owners of BTM here who come on now and then, but the most active member is Karen (theKarens). Her Zoe is a very popular girl here :).

Indigo is precious!! I want a BTM so badly. One day I'll win the lottery and I can have like 5

Its actually a pretty interesting story but the lady who hand raised them and had both my GW and my BTM till they were 6:blue: moved to Hawaii and could not take them. I met her through a mutual friend that knew she was trying to rehome them and it all worked out! She actually gave them both to me huge cages and all. They are now in their forever home!

We got Zoe due to her original owner moving out of country. She's 28 months and we've had her 14 months.
