Baby. Pretty young to show secondary sexual characteristics.

The budgie people may think differently but I believe it’s too young to say.

Definitely a girl. A young male wouldn't have a whitish cere, always pink or purple.

She looks alike to my Sunny! Is Yumi a show budgie, or at least partially? She's got a big crest compared to Australian budgies.

I personally think Yumi has a lilac cere. I’ve had some people say definitively a girl whilst others say definitively a boy so i guess we will have to wait and see in a few months πŸ˜‚

She was bred by a breeder who breeds budgies for show purposes. I wouldn’t know the difference between crest sizes etc.

She appears to be a girl, since her cere is light blue and white. She is young, but if she were a male, her cere would be pink and slightly iridescent.
