Hi Guys,

Appreciate your help.

Is it fine to pair a female red lord amazon with a male Blue fronted amazon, to breed?

I don't make it a secret, but I am against breeding different species of Amazons.

thank you very much, I totally agree and don't like to mix. the reason I've asked is that I bought a pair of red lord amazon where the dealer told me that they are a male and female and that they have laid eggs with their previous owner.

After few months I decided to do a DNA and got surprised to know that they are both females.

Do any of you know a breeder that sells males red lords and that does international shipping?

Where are you located? We can NOT ship amazons out of the US. You should check and see if you can import CITIES listed birds.

Hi, I live in the UAE and yes we can import cites listed birds I will double check and let you know as will. Can I have you email adress?

I won't be able to help you. I can NOT get permits to export CITIES listed birds. I've had hundreds of folks ask. To be honest , your best chance is to fly your private jet here , buy birds and fly home without permits. Of course this is very illegal and i wouldn't help. Just trying to paint you a picture of your chances of legally shipping CITIES listed birds out of the US. PS if i where you, i'd be shopping in Panama.
