breeding suconures

A year back when I saw sunconures for the first time I was fascinated by their beauty. I built a large aviary but did not succeed in getting a breeding par. The two adult pairs I bought were not a male / female combination. I realised that no one here wants to sell a breeding pair. I bought another 6 pairs of young birds. Hopefully in another 12 months I should have chicks.
I would love to have some advice on breeding sunconures.

Welcome to the forums, Shirley! Breeding is a complex proposition, and much research is necessary before taking the plunge! Sun Conures are beautiful and may be rare in a given area, thus the hesitation to sell a proven pair.
