Broken tail feathers

Xander has pretty much gone through all of his nice,long, beautiful tail feathers. I'll be sleeping and in the middle of the night BLAM! I heard a crash in the cage. I wake up and check the parakeets (they push each other sometimes at night lol) then look over at Xander. He climbs up the cage side and I take him out of the cage. I start checking him to make sure he's ok and two tail feathers have broken Over the next two weeks he falls down, sometimes breaking a feather, sometimes not. Now his tail looks so pathetic. I've decided to just trim at the break and leave him to molt the rest out. On the bright side I could already see a new feather growing!!! Here are some pics of my Chicken but Xander

awww poor xander! perhaps a crash mat under his perch lol but as mike said still a gourgious lookin bird

Such a beautiful.......is he young that he is falling like that? Thank goodness they weren't blood feathers and before you know it your little duck butt will have beautiful tail feathers again......

He is only 6 months old, and seems to be very clumsy lol
And yea I think Xander is still very beautiful too I also think that his tail gives him a little bit of character lol
