Hi, I need some recommendations for carriers, mainly for avian-vet trips. I am trying to help a friend who has Budgies. She uses a small cage as a carrier, which seems common for Budgie transport. Are there any good carriers appropriate for Budgies?

[9/16/2022 Edit:] Somebody? Anybody? :)

My neighbor just passed along a little plastic box-type carrier. Plastic box on bottom half, wire cage on top half, with a dowel perch across and a carrying handle.

These must be under $20 and will fit a budgie, lovebird, cockatiel.

This one is something like we use. I can't find our exact one, it has fabric that covers the sides.

I just found a neat cat or dog carrier, says it’s airline approved, but the back expands like an old pup tent to make the carrier MUCH BIGGER for when you arrive at your destination. So cool!

Like this, perhaps? It is crazy that they only have one photo, but you can see the perch trough the air vents.
