Budgie travel-carrier recommendations wanted

I posted about this in the Cages forum, but got no replies at all. I realized this is probably a more appropriate forum for my question.

I need some recommendations for travel carriers, mainly for avian-vet trips. I am trying to help a friend who has Budgies. She uses a small cage as a carrier, which seems common for Budgie transport. Are there any good carriers appropriate for Budgies?

I have never traveled with my budgies, but I've seen many breeders use travel carriers for small birds or mice.
If your friend can't find them at an average pet store, she may try looking for a specialized supply store for passerine (canaries, finches, etc.) breeders.

I also agree with Katrina !! That one from all living things at pet smart is an amazing carrier!

I have these two carriers. Love the green one there was no chemical smell. The smaller clear plastic on I had to air out for a few days. I like these as they are not bulky. I have a petco clear plastic on that I take my sparrow around in as it gets excellent air flow and is very sturdy but pretty bulky (I believe petco sells them). If I did it over again I wouldn't get the clear plastic (15 dollar one) one I'd just stick with the green backpack one
