I am building a natural perch and I know the safe wood to use but my issue is I am no good at identifying the trees in my area... I have 3 that I was looking at and im curious if any of you can identify them.. I live in new hampshire and most have no leaves at the moment.

I am thinking Beech because of the leaves but not 100%

I am thinking this is a young maple with the silver litchen. Poss a red maple. If this is I would make sure to strip the bark off of this branch.

Im not so sure about this one as it has cracks and more texture??

If you know the types of these trees please let me know as I dont want to introduce anything toxic.

Also should I worry about Sarcocystosis?? being on the branches or is the person im talking with just wayyy over protective and or just wants me to buy perches ?

I usually always give collected branches a good soak/scrub in hot bleach/soap water in the tub or a bucket or just on the driveway...

I always use more bleach than i need, just to be sure it works, because chlorine evaporates off anyways.

Let it airdry outside for about a day or so, then your good to go.

Im not gonna look thru them for you, but perhaps this may help
