My bf decided last night that he wanted to spoil Banjo. He had become the coolest and sweetest little bird. We had a "phase" of 3 days of attacks and bites. Glad that's over with!

So he's building it out of PVC :) and it's already looking cool!

It's got food/water dishes, a spiral ladder and a pool for baths! That's only the beginning. Will be posting progress shots here! Any input would be awesome too.

That is looking awesome so far and I love the bath part:) You might think about adding some vet wrap to make it easier for Banjo to hold onto the the PVC:)

Looks great,i love the bathing area!
Show us the pics when it's dressed up and in use!!

Building a play stand is on my wish list...yours looks great so far!

That's great!! What a lucky bird Banjo is!

Thank you thank you!!!

I bought some of that vet wrap stuff but have run into one little problem.... Banjo wants to EAT it. He shredded a piece and I had to take it away.
*sigh*

Here's an update!

Excellent! Our birdie came with a stand that I am sure cost well into $500 bucks or more and it is okay, but I love the bathing area on this one. So is your bird managing with the pvc or do you still plan to cover it? I would love to make another stand for our girl, especially one that is lighter and more portable than the one we have. It rolls but it is heavy. And maybe mosquito net on it so she can sit outside with us when summer rolls in...
The pvc would be good for that because it won't be destroyed by the humidity...
Giving me some ideas :-)
Can't wait to see next phase!

TOO awesome!! I would love to build one of those. Maybe someday. I don't know if I'd have room right now.
