I would start with more perches at various heights within the cage and more toys of a bigger variety of what's already in there.

Other than that, it looks great!!!! :D

Nice cage!
First thing I noticed is, I'd move it away from the couch at least a bit. I could see debris (food, feathers, bird dander, wooden toy chips, etc, etc) getting all over the arm of the couch LOL. Or maybe a clear plexiglass or plastic shield of some type. Also IMHO it will look a little better with a space between cage and couch.

Second thing, as Monica mentioned a couple things, I agree, it can use more perches. Natural wood perches of various sizes. Maybe a swing too! Also different kinds of toys like some foraging toys, some shreddable materials, some wood, stainless steel various shapes and bells, hoops and rings (but not size where head can get stuck in), the list goes on!

But overall it really looks great already. Lucky birdy!

Ok so I modified a few thinks, made some more perches etc:) how does it look now, I'm going to get a foraging wheel soon so I'll add that in:)

Looks AWESOME Tay!!!

You will find when you get your bird, that you will start re-arranging things, depending on what he likes!

He might like foraging toys, he might only like wood, or he might only like paper shreddable types :)

So it is just all about experimenting at the early stages!

Worst thing about being in Australia, is the price of foraging toys are literally twice as expensive than in America :/

They pay 30 for a toy, we pay 60 :( I have found a business who sells them ALOT cheaper than any other shop i can find in Australia though :)

Have a look at getting a baffle cage, they are great fun, you can stick it with food, leaves, paper, wood blocks, and they have great fun ripping it all out! :)

Also, the bucket of foot toys on the floor? Is there a way to have that hanging on the side of the cage? I know Fargo likes to have a little bucket of foot toys hanging up that he can reach into and grab..

Most birds don't usually like going on the floor, although some also love it and enjoy foraging on the floor... Just depends on your bird!

What i did on my cage, because it is basically the same as yours.. Is i undid one of the food bowls, and screwed it closer to the top :)

So he has one feeding station higher, and 3 others down lower! I just did that so he could have a bit of a feed in different sections! :)

Looks so great though, very very colourful! :D

Wow! What a great looking cage. You guys in the US or Australia are so lucky. Here in India we don't get a 10th of the choice in cages that you get...and the ones that we get here are REALLY expensive and nowhere near as nice as what is available to you. So jealous!!!!

Tay, your cage looks awesome! Your fid is going to be one lucky guy or gal:)
How much longer before your baby comes home?

Looks great so far! :)
