Is a cage 32"x23", 1/2" bar spacing, too big for a Green Cheek? Or do you find that they enjoy and use the space?

That is the size I recommend, but I wanted opinions from other GCC owners.

Thanks!

The argument is that someone working at a bird store said that a Green Cheek Conure will not like the space, that it is too big......
Feedback GCC owners? How do yours like it? Or not?

I think that's a perfect size. Toys can take up a lot of space

I've been told that the bigger, the better, as long as bar spacing is less than 3/4 of an inch. I too have a 23 x 32 x 72, and the birds like it just fine. I do use towels on the outside to make a covered up corner so they can hide from the world there. I've also been told to keep one side of the cage covered so they don't have to watch for predators from all four sides. Not sure if there's anything to this.
