Hello everyone!

Trying to advance in trick training with my 1 year old WBC, but can't seem to find the right treat for the motivation!

He's come pretty far, even though he gets distracted and forgets about his reward in the middle of eating it

Have seen some impressive tricks from these birds, any tips would be appreciated! :)

I would put a variety of treats in a bowl (such as: apples, safflower seeds, sunflower etc)
Let him experiment on them and see which one he seems to like most (its the one he finishes first most of the time)

Once you figured out his favourite, remove it from his diet so that its has a very high value since he can only get it when he’s training

Agree with above.
My Quaker and Gcc will do anything for safflower, or sunflower. Other good treats are nuts, just cut them up really small, or dried fruit works too, but fruit should be pretty limited especially dried. Some birds like oat groats or rolled oats.
