Parrots
Pineapple Green Cheek, Nekkid Senegal, Galah, LSC 'Too, Amazon and Conure (still to determine species)
Just took these two in from my SIL, due to her illness. Yoshi is the Amazon and Monte is the Conure.

I'm not familiar enough with these two species, though I suspect Monte is a blue crown??

Yoshi vibrates a LOT, is that a typical Amazon trait? He (??) is like a little Chihuahua.

Thanks for looking.

Hey there! I think the Amazon may be an orange-winged. The conure looks like a blue-crowned, although I’m not super familiar with conure species. My Amazon, Ava, seems to vibrate when she’s anxious/overly excited or when she’s scared. Is Yoshi showing any other body language that might hint at how he’s feeling? I haven’t noticed that Ava vibrates unless she’s having some big emotions.

You have an orange-winged Amazon and a blue-crowned conure. They’re beautiful! Thank you for taking care of them.

Thanks, they are very vocal!

He crouches down when he vibrates.

It kind of sounds like ā€œwanty wings.ā€ My bird does this daily. When I’m taking her to her tree stand to eat dinner or have a treat, she gets very excited, crouches, vibrates, and slightly sticks her wings out. It’s like I can’t get her there fast enough, she’s so excited. She’ll also do it when she wants to go somewhere other than where she is, or when she wants to be with us (hence, ā€œwanty wingsā€). She probably does it so often, because her previous owners clipped her wings very aggressively, and she can’t fly well to move about. That said, I’ve read of lots of Amazons doing this, though any parrot species can display the behavior.

Love the term want wings! šŸ˜„
