I've had this identical cage for about 5 years now, and want to get the proper fitting food dishes (long story, but using plastic hanging dishes and want to switch to steel, and put them in proper holders). So, can anyone give me a guess at manufacturer or model number of this cage?

Thank you,
Eric

A&E, Kings Cages, HQ, YML, Prevue, HOEI, Blue Ribbon, Hagen, Marvelous....

I can find similar cages, but not exact.

Super Pet, Reliance, brands that I'm not familiar with but apparently see frequently

Reliance comes closest... never heard of them before!

You might want to just look for dishes that would fit into the holders and just disregard the brand? There are some suppliers out there who sell plastic, ceramic and stainless steel dishes. Just find the ones that'll fit into the holder. If you aren't sure, contact the company.

When I bought the cage, they gave me some stainless dishes to go with it, but they didn't sit flush, and would tip. The local pet store here doesn't have the stainless dishes I need, so I was hoping to go to the manufacturer to order them online, so I get the ones that fit in the dish holders. The holders screw into the doors.

Nice looking cage.

I would measure the diameter of the holders and the existing cups and see if there is anything that is close on the market. Check the return policy of wherever you purchase new cups in case they aren't correct.

What are the dimensions of the cage?

Just get some Coop Cups, most feed stores carry them, and you just screw them onto the bars.

by the size of the bowl holders it looks to hold a wide brimmed stainless steel small or medium bowl.(should be able to buy the different sizes from HQ or A&E) If those do not fit it could be one that requires crocks but by the shape of the holders i believe they are stainless steel.

Thank you for the information. I did some quick measurements (rounded) but the cage is 27"W 23"D 59"H(from the floor) 31"H(just cage part). The food dish holders are 4" front to back, and across. Here's a picture of what they look like.

Take it with you when you go bowl hunting. That way you can just insert the bowl inside to see if it can sit in it normally. It might be hard to find a good fit but once you do buy an extra set.

You can also measure it from side to side. (flat part before it rounds out) to get more accurate measurement for the circumference of the bowl needed for it.

I had a similar problem with missing bowls and found that there were stainless steel dog bowls that fit and am using those.

I took them with me, and found bowls that fit...sadly, I'm paying the extra couple hundred bucks for the cage that comes with them. A friend at the store here is going to talk to one of her reps and get them in for me. It'll take awhile, but we'll get them eventually.
