Carrot mash

Indian Ringneck
Your bird will love this!! Slice a peeled carrot and Boil it until soft, strain it and mash with a fork. My Indian Ringneck loves this, He doesn't chew the carrot but he was munching at this all morning!!:09:
P.S- im am not sure if I have posted this already if I have, sorry:eek:

Yes, this is great stuff... Just make sure you leave out salt...

My macaw eats no human food what so ever, so I will defiently try this to see if it works! In the mean while, to contradict my first statemnet, I admit I have gotten her to eat human food last night. We mashed up kiwi fruit (peeled) and mixed it in with a very soft, mushy plain oatmeal. She loved it! I suggest this for picky eaters!

Birds seem to like mashed fruits & veggies best. Sometimes they don't see big pieces of them as food. But, mashed food is so much easier to eat. Mmmm! Sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, broccoli, any veg. Not to forget mashed up fruit! Mmmm!
