Is it impossible to have both birds and cats at the same time?
Cause even with hand washing and such, paestruella could stick to skin and clothes, and to shower that often just wouldn't work.
Anyone have any problems with this?

I have 2 cats and a bird, they are all fine.

30 years ago I had a parakeet, a CAG, 2 cats, and 2 dogs, everyone was fine.

I don't have cats, but I can tell you MANY people here have both cats and birds, so I don't think you have to worry. Unless you have a cat who hunts birds.

Is Pasteurella a naturally occurring bacteria in cats? I once had a nasty Pasteurella infection from a dog bite!
