Hi

Is it ok to feed steamed cauliflower & broccoli mashed?

yes if they will eat it that way . Mine prefer it raw and I always make sure I wash it before serving it to them .

My birds prefer all cooked veggies. funny how they have such likes and dislikes.

Yep, it sure is...my tiels and conure also loved cooked brussel sprouts. :D

Most birdies love a little mash...LOL

Abby like her's either way.. fresh or cooked and mashed.

Bird Fids are just like real kids... they all have their own personality..

Got to love them all.

My Too will always eat every morsel of broccoli before he touches anything else I offer...fruit, nuts, snacks...anything.

YET, he will not touch cooked broccoli...too funny.

My birds like broccoli cooked too...my macaw whose never been much of a veggie bird prefers veggies being cooked before he will eat them. Brats I tell ya!!! LoL

Apple refusese to eat any vegtable I have offered. Only fruits he will actually sit and eat are apples. Cooked or uncooked he'll only nibble at broccoli, couliflower, and carrot but won't actually eat it. I've tried almonds, kiwi, cherries, grapes, mango, papaya, cilantro, and strawberries. Maybe i'll try all of that stuff mashed! :D We'll see... Sorry to "jack" the thread but is it okay to give them Dandelion greens, Kale, Collard Greens, and Mustard Greens?

My Senegal doesn't like Broccoli. I haven't tried to cook it for him yet... maybe I will try that :)
