When you freeze the packages do you heat them up in the microwave for the birds?

I take a bag out of the freezer then take a portion out on a plate and microwave for about a minute when frozen. Then the remainder goes in the fridge and thaws overnight. The next couple of days portions get microwaved 30 seconds when thawed.

It's easy as you can make big batches. Less expensive, too!
