For the members who celebrate, looking for ideas for the”princess “.

Her favorite shred toys are balsa blocks, regular cage hang toys last forever.
Was wondering what other members do for their fids?

I do foraging type stuff. I wrap favorite toys in newspaper. I put favorite treats in little paper bags. Or use paper towel or toilet paper tubes that I hide a treat in the middle and stuff the ends with newspaper or shredded paper. I make a big deal about them "opening" their presents.

Mine like the shredders roll, the rubber balls with holes i out popcorn in, finger traps are fun to shred, abd those papper rolls.

Toilet paper rolls are not an acceptable toy for Parrots as the manufacturers' are using a misting application of adhesive that does not breakdown. A couple of manufacturers are trying a mist of water just prior to roll switching. Still early in trials. At this time (December 2020), those testing are using both approaches...
FYI: Toilet paper rolls are used in a toxic zone and as a result really are not a great choice to begin with...

The best Christmas Toys are the ones they enjoy the most. We do not introduce new toy types at Christmas as there is always the possibility that they may reject it. And, no one wants a rejected Christmas toy!

Enjoy...

Not toilet paper rolls. Those things they sell just for parrots that are rolls of paper they kinds look like rolls of tape.....I dint know what they are called, mine love to peel them

Are you talking about the birdie bagels, Laurasea? Mine like those too as well as the finger traps. The toilet paper rolls was probably in reference to my post. Didn't know they have toxic glue.
