Haven't been on in a while, sorry about that, but I recently got my first smartphone and started taking pics of Clark and making videos. Just made my first youtube upload.

Please Enjoy, Clark taking his bath....in an icetray....because.....well he does.

Cute! Neat trick with the ice cube Trey!!! I'll have to try that one! Thanks for sharing!

thank you!!! the funniest part was giving it the quick edit before I uploaded it, and he was watching himself going....what is that crazy bird doing?

Adorable - maybe the icecube tray works kind of like an old-fashioned washboard :)

SO CUTE (Like a little fish)! Ice-cube tray is GENIUS!!!

Do you mind if I ask how often you do that with your bird? That's a pretty thorough bathing.

So cute!!! Conures are hilarious bathers! Thanks!

What a beautiful little guy!

How in the world did the idea of an ice tray come to mind? It does give secure footing... and fits easily underneath the faucet...

I love how he does his thang and then... "I'm done" and (*zip*) up your arm!

Ice cube tray is a great idea! He really enjoys water!!

Hi Boki he bathes about twice a week. It seems always when I'm watching though, like he'll use his water dish in his cage if I just refilled it, but he decided the Ice tray (which I use) and refill almost daily (downstairs man cave microfridge and sink) is the best place to get wet.

Hi gail he decided one day when I was filling a tray that that would just be perfect. He prefers it to the showering with me. But occasionally still does that as well. But he sees bathing as a communal thing I suppose, I have to be there.

He is just so sweet and funny and quirky and beautiful. You're a lucky guy.

Okay, so's he.

:)

Squeaky prefers the water bowl in her cage. I never know when its going to happen but its always after her water has been changed. She used to use the bird bath bowl in her old cage but ever since she got her new open top cage she uses the water bowl. If I am there when she does it then I'll hang a towel over her cage to contain splashing water.

I'm pretty certain that Clark and Bowie are brothers from the same clutch...I'll have to try the ice cube tray, that beats Bowie jumping into the sink and trying to bath in the dishes while I'm washing them...Every single morning, first thing when I change his water and give him his breakfast, he actually jumps into his water dish first, soaking himself, and then he eats his breakfast wet while he dries. He isn't much for the shower like my Senegal or my Quaker, but he'll jump right in to any water dish, sink, bowl, etc. that has water in it. I had to actually stop rinsing out dishes and putting them in the sink, because I would find him bathing in the dirty dishes!!!

He looks like Bowie too, even though Bowie is a Yellow-Sided, they both have that same "look", that "I know you love me and I can do whatever I want and I know it" look...it's our own faults you know. I have no idea how any Green Cheek owner is able to shoot-down that look. It's impossible.

so it's getting a bit cold for clark to go out anymore, but I brought my phone to a store clark and I frequent and showed the cashier girl this new "viral video" ...clark has sat on her shoulder before etc.

I think I might have a new girlfriend soon!

Is it unethical to use a bird as a wingman?

Wingman!!!!!

Wingbird!!!

Okay, that's a new classic!

people get dogs to pick up girls, why not a bird?
