Hi guys,
Now that the quarantine period is over and the girls have been in the same room for a while, I'm wondering how to go about allowing them to interact more closely with one another without inciting any kind of aggression or stress?
They're cages are across the room from one another so they can see/hear each other all day.
I've been near the one birds cage with the other bird on my arm and they seem interested but not agitated
I've had one on each arm once very briefly, they seemed ok with that
Vino actually made it across the room once and was trying to climb onto Spots cage. Spot was inside her cage, down near the corner where Vino was. She didn't seem to upset by her being there
They do a lot of the same activities at the same time - eating, preening, napping etc which from what I've read is flock behavior.
They both lived with other birds in their previous homes.
I'm just wondering what is the best plan for allowing them to interact closely with each other for the first time?
