Congrats! Getting the bird's trust takes a lot of love!!!! My JoJo learned to step up in 4 days after we've been practicing everyday. It's been exactly one week yesterday since we got them. He's super shy and nervous but he's doing pretty good now. BOTH of them goes to my partner now, I would be mad if they do like what Dixie did....lol.....I came home with Dixie and she flew off to my partner the moment they met. She's been doing it ever since. IT was love at first sight....lol Gracie flew off to my partner yesterday while I was holding her. That's IT! I'm the stern trainer who make them nice and trained, then they leave me....lol My partner have no idea on how to train them so I do all the training. They only come to me when they want something....lol.... As long as my partner isn't home, they stay with me pretty good. The only one that will NOT go to my partner is Willie, he will only come to me. Because of Willie's big beak and crankiness, my partner refused to hold him ever. Plus Willie will try to attack my partner. Neither one of them is willing to work with another so I give up....lol....But Willie plays with the dogs nicely though...
