Two Cockatiels: Rascal (Geraldine) and his baby brother named Coconut!
Coconut always sits on the towel rack as I take shower and I noticed he started flapping his wings as if he were taking a bath even though no water was hitting him LOL ... so I took him inside the shower stall and he started to bathe like crazy as the water bounced of me and landed onto him. He LOVED it :D His fluffy baby feathers absorbed water much faster than Rascal's adult feathers.

Very sweet! Unfair, you shower with your top on!! I demand a reshoot!

LOL... that pic was taken after I had gotten out of the shower and Coconut was drying off :p

Good job there 'Nut :p.. BB has only once taken a bath. I was doing dishes by hand in the kitchen sink, while he watched from the counter top. I turned the water down to luke warm and removed the drain stop, just in time for him to jump in.
He beaked at the water but refused to get under the slow running faucet.
I then let the water run into my hand, then held my hand over him,to allow the droplets to fall on his head and back.
He opened his arms wide, fluffed up some, and shook his booty all about for about one minute..
That was the first and only time he has done this
Seems like he is paranoid of getting wet. :o

Some birds just don't get it or maybe like it. As you know, Jim, Salty only took his first real shower last week, after 11 months of age.

I noticed several times Coconut was trying to bathe in his water bowl... so I knew he would be a water bug :D

It's so nice when they enjoy it. Their feathers always dry so pretty afterwards.

That is so awesome! I heard strange noises coming from Starry's cage and it turns out she is trying to bathe in her water bowl [emoji23] her previous owners told me I should use a bottle because it is easier but I hate bottles for my animals and used a bowl. Clearly the right choice.

I miss cockatiels, coconut is very cute!

Thanks :) Do you have a GCC? I'm not sure by pic in your avatar. I would love to have a small conure one day ;)

She is a quaker parrot. I just got her from a friend and she is such a brat but I love her already. She is nuts and tries to bite anybody who is not me. She even attacks me when I am wearing a hat. Odd bird.

My Leo is impossible to keep out of his water bowl. I can put him back into his cage fresh from a shower and he'll still try to bathe in his bowl. He's a stubborn little thing.
