Coco's scream

Every now and then Coco will scream as though she has hurt herself. It only lasts for about 5 seconds. The first time she did it I thought she had trapped her foot or something. Scared the life out of me. Does anyone know why she does this please? She flaps her wings at the same time.

it could be for many things like wanting attention, something spooked her out etc... I'm experienced in parrots or other parrot family but my budgie used to squawk like mad in a certain spot of my home so I had to move him and after that he was fine. sorry I can't help anymore

I had a Quaker that would do that. I think he learned that when he screamed like that he got immediate attention. I had to tell my gf repeatedly to stop responding. After ignoring it for a while, he stopped doing it.

That depends. What species is Coco? If he/she is a Conure that's about normal. Does it follow after something like eating? Any pattern as to when it happens?

This was posted on the CAG/TAG section... So I think its safe to say that Coco is either a CAG or a TAG...
