Hi,
I'm just going through this too with two birds who aren't used to a cold UK indoors.
I've put their cage next to a radiator and as its a big montana with a heavy night blanket over the top it's sealed from drafts and the warm air from the radiator gathers nicely inside.
I basically decided that during winter I'll have to leave the heating on 24/7 (thanks moderator Wenz) and I did a test the other day...it will be about 80p a day.
I've tried to source one of the heated perches in the UK but no luck so far. I love bird gadgets and I NEED one of these. Sadly all the sources I have seen are USA disguised through Amazon etc.
I know aivary birds go much colder than this and some people say "they will be fine" but I just found myself getting bothered by it when I saw temps drop.
