conure and corella??

Hi all, im after opinions, we have an 8 month old sun conure that weve had for 6 months and are looking to expand out flock with a corella, has anyone had any experience with introducing a new bird to an only bird? Whats the best way to intrduce them? My conure is very young and the corella is 12 years old, would that be a problem? My conure is male and the corella is female, the conure is bonded to me and the corella loves my fiancee. Just tryna give as much information as possible to get an educated guess. Tia
