Help my sun conure chewed up his tent bed. So I bought him a new one and now he’s sleeping on the side of his cage, how can I get my skittles to understand that it’s ok to sleep in it?

Put a yummy treat inside to encourage him to explore the new one.

They shouldnt be in tent beds. I am assuming it is a "happy hut". They can cause hormonal strikes especially in the season we are in right now, and if they chew the fuzz, it can cause the fuzz to get built up at the epiglottis and will not pass through, causing suffication.
