Went to check on my lil guy and he seems to have hurt is back nail. I noticed this because I thought his foot might have been bleeding but Iā€™m 99% sure itā€™s from his nail. Iā€™ll attach some pics. Apologies for not getting any better pics he doesnā€™t really stand still I had to give him some treats to take some. Is this something I should be concerned about that would require immediate care ? He seems ok and Iā€™m not really sure if itā€™s still bleeding. He went on me and walked around and nothing stained me. Any advice would be great. Iā€™ve checked his other foot and the rest and it just seems to be that foot.

Looks very minor. Id take nai clippers and take the tip off the nail.

You can add a few drops of betadine to water fir a very light color and have himnstsndvin it or pat it on the tip of the toe. Its great for treating wounds.

Truly great advice provided above. Remember that with Birds it is not a game of: If a little is good, a lot has to be great! NO, never overdo it!
