i can't tell you what will for sure work because i haven't faced that particular situation but maybe some of the more experienced parrot owners on here have and could help you out, be kind be ,patient use a soothing voice and try to be the only one that cares for him might help with him bonding to you! My birds liked my boyfriend more than me when we first got them, but now he doesn't bother with them much and i make a point of always talking to them when i walk by, giving them treats and fresh fruit and veggies,and at least an hour on me playtime and most of the day they are loose in my bird room , anyways all that to say my efforts were worth it, i am now their goto human,lol they choose me every time!!
