Conversation with my Conure

The conversation I just had with Mira my ysgcc...

Me:*walks over to play stand, extends hand* "Step Up"
Mira: "Step Up"
Me: "Yes, I want you to step up."
Mira: "Step Up."
Me: *nods head* "Yes, Step Up."
Mira: "Step Up". *nods many times*
Me: "How about you do it not just say it...."
Mira: "Step Up". *kissy noise*
Me: "Never mind". *turns away*
Mira: *nods* "Step Up". *kissy noise* "Pretty girl"

She's such a brat... At no point did she so much as lift a foot. Just sat there all cute and talking.

Mine had this issue, till I started counting to three ;D
Our conversation goes. "Step up... 1....2....3... Step up". if she doesn't oblige, I walk away.
Repeat about 3 or so times, and she'll eventually step up.

They're all just bratty children haha.

Oh she knows how to step up ROFL. She just thinks she's funny. She likes to climb OUT of her cage to sit on her stand, but won't go back in. I have to pick her up. That was her rebellion to bed time

She's total ham when she's not being a fuss. Gotta love these little guys.

I envy those with the big exotic birds.....but this is the enjoyment we live everyday with conures....!!!!

Seems like all the "little" parrots are that way..

With BB I put my hand inside his house and extend my fingers saying "C'mon"..
And he'll look at me,bob his head,saying "c'mon...c'mon"...some times I just sigh and say "oh well" and turn and walk away..lol

well I dunno clark knows "come on" in context....he doesn't always come on when I say it, but he's more than ready to give it as an order when he want's us to get up or to move somewhere...

I say the same thing LOL. So much so, that one of Kermit's titles is The Featherlord The other being The Green Demon, which I say in the most loving of ways... They're certainly divas. All of them.
