Converting to pellet tips

I have two lovebirds who I want to convert to pellets. They have been eating seeds for years and it’s time for a change. My obvious problem is that they won’t. I’ve crushed up their food and mixed it in. Slowly added pellets and reduced seeds. Put it in their treat bowl. But no matter what it always ends with them refusing to eat and then getting lethargic cause they’re not eating enough. I do however know their willing to eat them because I have seen them eat the pellets before and they have taken some form my hand but they won’t eat only pellets they will only have some if I put separate food bowls with pellets in and they will only eat a piece or two and then lose interest and not eat anymore. Any tips would be helpful because I want to give them the right food but I just don’t know what to do anymore.

I have come full circle on pellets as I view them today as little more than a supplement to a well developed diet, which would be common in your Parrot's real world origin range in their native place in this huge world.

The wonders of the Internet is that one can usr the web to find what natural foods are available where your species originates. Put together a diet based on those items and add the pellets as a supplement.
