I hadn't seen feathers through a microscope before, but I just searched Google and found some pictures. Amazing.

Whilst studying for my degree I took some feathers in one day to add to my collection of microscope studies. I spent so long obsessed with them I barely scraped a pass in that module! They are amazing.
I love the close up of cookies eye with the feathers in close focus. I have a similar pic of my beloved (now rip) amazon my boyfriend took for me. Stunning!
