The only thing I cant figure out is in the 20 hours I'v had him he has almost not moved. I went to bed and woke up the next morning and she was in the same spot. What should I do [I looked through the whole "Brining a Parrakeet home"] section in my "Parakeet handbook"

Give Cracker a few days to get adjusted to his/her new "digs" s/he might just sit there quietly. I know it's tough, but leave Cracker alone for a while, let him/her get used to his/her new home. Talk to Cracker in a calm soothing voice ... s/he'll come around in a few days - PROMISE!

I know what you mean, you are hyper-vigilant when you first bring them home, we have all gone through it ... give Cracker a couple of days to come around, THEN if he hasn't changed you can worry! :D

I'll tell you the story...

A Monolog by Slayor

At the pet store I sat infront of the bird cages for 25minutes and when I was cheeked out my brother decided to tell he was going back in to buy fish. So I had a bird on my lap in a 6inc box in the boiling car. We finally came home with: 1 giant thing of Hamster coshen
7 fish
1 bird

So that is how Cracker came home

They all need to get used to the new home and surroundings, When I first bought Kito home he didn't move much at all, yeah I know he was a lot younger than most, but Bucc was the same and all my little ones, Now they don't sit still for a minute :D Well unless they're eating.

Cracker will come round in a few days, he has a lot of new things to get used to, it must be kinda scary for them when they first get home. In a month or so you'll wonder why you were worried about this, :D You'll both be just fine and hey we are always here for you both.

That's a great start, now if you can just get her to not fly away, that is the next step ...
