Craigslist Quakers Florida

15 different people are rehoming Quakers on Craigslist in North Florida alone.......
The reason, they can be very loud vocalizing for hours, not suitable for apartments! Most Quakers never make it to parrot rescue, they are just sold on Craigslist. They are the most common Parrots in my area sold on Craigslist, even beating out parakeets!!!!! Most of them are wonder and nothing wrong with them , just loud and cheap and prolific breeders so people impulse get them.... So if you are in Florida or elsewhere check out Craigslist for a parrot needing a home. As long as you understand what you are getting into..... A very active parrot, needs a large cage, lots of toys lots of attention from owner very needy if attention, and loud. I'm going through very loud screeches with Neptune, screeches while eats, screeches while he shreds stuff, screeches while he flies, non stop happy screeching ( I'm working on redirecting, but he finds joy in his screeches.....)

That's Ontario the same for Conures unfortunately. There's a breeder up here that constantly posts on Kijiji and constantly sells lots of babies. People see cute and sweet babies and just impulse buy them. It's so bizarre and foreign to me that people buy parrots, but don't want them to be loud, intelligent, or needy? Like that's the same reason people want them for. Nonetheless, I hope those sweethearts get adopted into great homes :c
