Deworming and vaccinations?

Hi I am just wondering if birds need deworming and vaccinations? Thanks for answers.

Nope. I mean, I'd assume they need some sort of anti parasitic if they have worms, but its generally not advised to deworm or vaccinate companion parrots.

It depends on the size of the bird I find. Some breeders will vaccinate larger, breeder birds (IE Greys and macaws, etc), but in general they're not needed. In fact, some vets outright frown upon vaccinations for birds! (actually happened here in town. The lady wanted to vaccinate her lovebird and the vet had a conniption).
