hi all
today i called for GCC conure and he said he has marron tail ... (he said its the same bird)

i need confirmation so i can talk to him tomorrow

Maroon tailed conure is not the same thing as a Green Cheek Conure, let alone a Maroon Bellied conure.

incognito, technically a maroon tailed and a green cheek conure are the same birds... when I say technically, I mean that they belong to the same family (Pyrrhura), but that doesn't mean that they are the same birds (different species).

Green Cheek Conure -> Pyrrhura molinae
Maroon Tailed Conure -> Pyrrhura melanura
Maroon Bellied Conure -> Pyrrhura frontalis

They have slightly different appearances and may be slightly different in size as well. If you don't know the different characteristics of the different species (let alone subspecies), it may be difficult to tell them apart.

They belong to the same genus, Pyrrhura, but are not the same species. Maroon bellies are said to be nearly identical to GCC in temprement as well as appearence. I'm not sure about Maroon-tailed.

An extract from The book Parrots of the World.

Pyrrhura is a convenient grouping of parrots that exhibit strong similarities to each other. Though it well sets apart the genus, this homogeneity gives rise to real uncertainties about interspecific relationships.

Also it is worth mentioning that the GCC & maroon bellies are in different locations.
